Hebron (QNN)- Dozens of Palestinian students and teachers were reportedly injured on Sunday due to Israeli heavy tear gas firing at an elementary school in Hebron in the South of the occupied West Bank.
Local sources said that Israeli soldiers started showering the school with tear gas while children and teachers were standing in the morning assembly, causing tens of suffocation cases among them, some of which are severe.
In the same vein, the school's secretary said that Israeli soldiers and illegal settlers never stopped harassing the children and targeted them while on their way to their school and from it.
Over 11 schools in Hebron suffer from continuous Israeli assaults and targeting at checkpoints. Several videos have shown armed extremist settlers intimidating elementary school children and blocking streets.

Local sources confirmed that 11-year-old Hamsa Housou was shot and killed by Israeli fire in western Jabalia, northern Gaza, despite posing no clear threat.
Israeli forces killed two Palestinians in a strike on a home in eastern Gaza, claiming the attack responded to an alleged Hamas assault without providing evidence.
