Ramallah (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces repressed on Thursday a solidarity vigil for Palestinian prisoners near Israeli Ofer jail in western Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

Israeli forces also arrested a protester after assaulting and beating him. The young man was beaten until he fainted before being arrested.

The vigil was organized by Birzeit university students in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners, who have been on hunger strike against the Israeli policy of administrative detention.

Israeli forces repressed the peaceful vigil using stun and tear gas grenades against protesters.
