Ramallah (QNN)- Hundreds of Palestinians in Ramallah took part Sunday in a protest in solidarity with prisoner Samer Arbid, who was evacuated today to hospital after being subjected to torture by Israeli Shin Bet.

The protesters raised Palestinian flags and pictures of Arbid and chanted slogans, which support him and his struggle, demanding to immediately release him.

Arbid was arrested among others earlier this month before being released two weeks later then rearrested last Wednesday to be interrogated under torture at Maskubiyyeh interrogation center.

The Shin Bet claims that Arbid (44 years old is the head of a group of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine “PFLP” members, who targeted an illegal settlement with an explosive device, killing one settler and injuring two others.

Israeli media reported that the Shin Bet had got a court permission to torture Arbid during interrogation, which left him unconscious and in critical condition.
