Gaza (QNN)- Israeli occupation soldiers murdered on Friday one Palestinian protester and injured 30 others while suppressing the weekly Great Return March protests, in which thousands of protesters participated.
The Palestinian ministry of health in Gaza said that Abdallah Abdelal (24 years old) succumbed to wounds he sustained while participating in the peaceful protest in eastern Rafah.
Israeli soldiers fired live and rubber bullets and tear gas grenades at the peaceful protesters, causing 30 of them, including four children and one paramedic, to be wounded.
The International Coordination Committee of the GRM has called on Palestinians to participate in the event to protest the deal of the century. It also declared May 15th a day of general strike remembering Nakbah, in order to convey a message that “we will never forget or forgive, and we will have our rights no matter how long or short it may takes us.”
The protest comes after one week of two-day-long Israeli deadly attacks and Palestinian counter attacks, which started after Israeli soldiers killed four Palestinian protesters on the Gaza borders. 27 Palestinian civilians, including two babies and several children and women, have been killed in the Israeli attacks. Meanwhile, four settlers were killed in different settlements, which were targeted by the resistance.
